Easily PS4. The Kinect HAS to come with the Xbox One, like, there's no choice to the matter, which drops the budget down dramatically, causing the internal hardware to pretty much be just as good or only a little better then the Xbox 360. PS4 on the other hand just flat out looks Bad-Ass. And in the unveiling of the PS4, instead of showing the console, they showed a CRAP TON of games that are coming out for it in the near future. THEY. LOOK. AMAZING!! Ohh... One Last Thing... I'm almost completely sure Xbox Live will still cost something. They might call it something else on the Xbox One, or give it a different look, but most likely, it will cost money, which is RIDICULOUS. Wow. This is a Long Post, LOL. Soo, PS4.
Always being a Sony guy, since the PS1 anyway... and noticing from the various news outlets just how much better PS4 seems to be, sounds like a no-brainer. Besides, I don't need an always-online Kinect spying on my heartbeat, emotions and other needless crap just to sell advertisements.
The Gizmondo, one of the more older systems, bombarded you with advertisements during your game if you bought the cheap ~$200 version, and that system sold JUST 5,000 copies. Now I don't think the XBone will fail that spectacularly, but if they're going to keep directing ads in our faces when we just want to play games, plus all the other crap that's been confirmed... Microsoft are going to get a HUGE reality cheque to cash in.
Yeah, that "extra fee" for purchasing used games is just a fuckin' cash grab, end of story. That said, I'm not going to venture out and buy a PS4 straight away... I kinda learned that lesson with the PS3 when I got a 40GB unit with I think a couple of games for $700... Thank goodness for the interchangeable hard drive... bought a 500GB drive for exactly that purpose.
You can bet most original Microsoft fans will be stuck with a pissy 30 or 40GB hard drive (or something of similar size) which means their games are pretty much limited. Heck I didn't even rush to the store to buy me a new PlayStation Move unit... and even now, it still looks rather, well, dull.
